So, in order to solve the problem, first, you need to understand what the problem is, and then it should be communicated clearly to the concerned and responsible person. Then problem solvers should think of several options and solutions and explore the consequences of each, before selecting the best option and making appropriate strategies.

Improving Problem Solving Skills

Once you learn the basic STEPs of problem-solving, you can improve your upskill in each steps. Some people have a lot of ideas but have trouble putting them into practice. Others have excellent execution skills but struggle to choose whatever options to implement. Knowing the various problem-solving phases enables you to focus on your weak areas or collaborate with someone whose skills match yours.

Keep in mind that problem-solving is a never-ending process that you will be repeating. In fact, don’t try to avoid challenges at all because they are a necessary part of your learning and development.
